This morning I get to open this blog with a new publication: He Sees Me. This was an exciting story to write. It was part of my Senior Writing Project in college, a series of short stories centering around the now-familiar internet urban legend The Slender Man. I had the opportunity to treat each story |
differently, and this one falls more closely into the genre of a horror/suspense story, as opposed to a straight horror (Remnants), or an emotional mystery (The Tall Man's Gift).
Police Lieutenant Stanley Travers is the focus of this tale, but it was the secondary characters and their untold stories that interested me about writing this one, and maybe I will be revisiting it again someday.
After all, those with a keen eye will have noticed that Remnants and The Tall Man's Gift are rather closely connected...
